Phone number not accepted

When editing your profile on the Bright website to add your phone number, you may encounter this error:


If you encounter this error, first, ensure that you are using a US-based phone number. Our system only accepts US-based phone numbers. If you are attempting to register for an account from outside of the United States, please see: Is Bright open to International Participants?

Further Troubleshooting

If you are a US-based participant, and are still experiencing difficulty adding your phone number to your profile, we would recommend omitting your phone number from your profile entirely. This will allow you to login to Bright with your email address.
